Web Developer

The Web Developer assists with analyzing, designing, coding, and testing web content for Replacements' web sites.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience developing rich interactive user interfaces for web applications for consumers and/or enterprises.
  • Proficient in HTML5 and CSS3
  • Good knowledge in JavaScript development
  • Experience in other UI libraries (ex. jQuery).
  • Experience building efficient, cross browser, user-friendly mobile and desktop interfaces
  • Strong creative design and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English required, both verbal and written

Preferred Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Bootstrap 3.x or similar frameworks (responsive design)
  • Familiarity with Laravel
  • Experience with Java, PHP and/or Perl
  • Experience with SQL and/or document databases (e.g. MySQL, MariaDB, Solr, MongoDB)
  • Experience writing and integrating w/ API's
  • Experience with SEO strategies, web analytic tools and accessibility standards
  • Experience with GIT

Education and Background:

  • Bachelor degree in computer science or related field with web design or equivalent work experience

Software Developer/Analyst (entry to mid-level Programmer)

Would you like to work in an environment built on teamwork, diversity with challenging and rewarding work? We are looking for a Software Developer/Analyst to join our team of IT professionals. How about the benefit of bringing your dog to work?

Under direct supervision of the Manager of Software Development or other senior level staff members, the Business Analyst/Software Developer is responsible for reviewing and modifying programming systems, including coding, testing, debugging and documenting programs.

Key Requirements:

  • Must have working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Must understand basic programming fundamentals
  • Must have a working knowledge of an application software language such as Java, C++, SQR or an equivalent object oriented programming language
  • Familiarity writing SQL queries preferred.
  • Familiarity with PowerBuilder or Visual Studio a plus
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a plus.
  • Familiar with relational databases, client-server concepts, web concepts, structured and object oriented programming techniques
  • Working knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the IS industry
  • Good communication skills in English required, both verbal and written

Education and Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required, or Associate's degree in a related area and up to 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area
