"I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your service. I have enjoyed being able to fill in the missing pieces of my dinnerware, after years of futile searching for my pattern in stores. Now you have come to the rescue again! All I wanted to get my sister for her birthday last year, then for Christmas, then for her birthday this year was some dinner plates in her pattern to finish out her set. And that's all she wanted. But the pattern had been discontinued, and even on your website, other pieces in her pattern were available, but there were no dinner plates. I was very disappointed. I even tried other companies, and called stores in other states, all to no avail. Her birthday was coming up again last week, and I was resigned to the fact that I would just have to send her a card and a check, and tell her, "Sorry, but I couldn't find what you wanted. I guess there just aren't any out there. Then... an email popped up on my computer just before I was about to turn it off that evening. It was from replacements.com and said, we have dinner plates in the pattern you requested (Sedona by Noritake). Boy, was I ever thrilled! I ordered her four plates, had them shipped straight to her, and was so impressed with the service of the person I talked to. "I am sure you have heard hundreds of variations on this theme, but I just had to say THANK YOU for helping me preserve my grandmother's china. I acquired her Noritake set for 12 several years ago, and as I know my grandparents were not wealthy people, I can imagine this set from the 1930's must have been very precious to her. Although used only for special occasions and generally very well cared for, a couple of pieces were chipped or missing, and I wanted desperately to replace them. Compounding my problem in doing this was the fact that there was no pattern identified on the china itself, and since my grandmother and mother are both long gone, I could not rely any help from my family. After several superficial attempts at identification I recently decided to renew my pursuit with even greater determination. Several hours on my computer led to the discovery your website, and with dish in hand while scrutinizing many photos, I was finally able to identify the pattern (N234) and begin to replace pieces. The first of those arrived today, and as I hoped, they were an exact match--not to mention the perfect condition they arrived in! I feel like I have struck gold! The service you provide goes far beyond dishes. It has enabled four generations of my family to preserve, and continue to enjoy, a cherished heirloom and the wonderful memories associated with it. My grandmother and mother would be very pleased, and my daughter and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Please keep up your excellent work! "I recently discovered your web site by accident. I found my mother's "everyday dinnerware" from my childhood. It's called California Provincial by Metlox but my family has always referred to the dinnerware as Mom's "rooster plates". I told my Mother about your web site and she asked me to look for the sugar bowl that my father had dropped and broke way back in the 1950's.
