Plans Kickoff Event to Launch Construction of Habitat for Humanity House
GREENSBORO, N.C., March 2, 2011 – Replacements, Ltd. today announces plans for the company’s kickoff event to officially launch construction on a Habitat for Humanity house. Replacements’ volunteer crew and company leaders will join its partner family to raise the framing on their new home at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 17, 2011. The site is located at 1608 Sunrise Valley Drive, Greensboro, N.C. 27405.
The world’s largest retailer of old and new china, crystal, silver and collectibles is building the Habitat home to celebrate the company’s 30th anniversary. Replacements is known for its strong community involvement and plans for the company’s entire staff to participate in the three-month project. The brief kickoff celebration coincides with Replacements’ actual 30th anniversary date.
