Replacements, Ltd. Encourages Children to Look Toward Their Future through Take Your Child to Work Day
GREENSBORO, N.C., April 23, 2012 – Replacements, Ltd. is encouraging children to look toward their future through Take Your Child to Work Day 2012. The world’s largest retailer of old and new china, crystal, silver and collectibles is inviting the company’s employees to bring their children to work as part of national events set for Thursday, April 26, 2012.
Event organizers are planning numerous activities centered on the theme, “What’s Your Future?” The day’s events include plate painting, role playing and teambuilding exercises geared toward helping children learn more about themselves through creative teamwork.
“This event is truly special to us, because commitment to family is one of our values,” says Jeanine Falcon, Replacements’ vice president of human resources. “As a family-friendly company, we want to take advantage of this opportunity to celebrate our employees, their children and the rich diversity that family means. Not only does ‘Take Your Child to Work Day’ give our employees’ children a chance to see what their parents do for a living, it allows them to start thinking about their career goals at an early age. We are excited to be planning a day’s worth of fun and educational activities to help children connect to their own dreams and aspirations.”
Children will also learn more about Replacements, and their parents’ roles within the company. Media interested in covering this year’s events should contact Public Relations Manager Lisa Conklin at (336) 697-3000 ((336) 209-0951 mobile), ext. 2552 or email@example.com.
