Replacements Invites Customers to Celebrate Bring Your Pet to Work Day
GREENSBORO, N.C., June 13, 2013 – Replacements, Ltd. is inviting our guests to help celebrate the company’s annual
Bring Your Pet to Work Day scheduled for Friday, June 21, 2013. Dogs shopping with their owners at Replacements’ retail store will receive treats as part of the day’s events. The celebration ties into activities planned nationally as part of Pet Sitters International’s
Take Your Dog to Work Day.
Replacements welcomes employees and customers to bring their pets to work or shop year round. The Greensboro retailer has received international media attention for the company’s innovative pet friendly policy, established by Founder and CEO Bob Page more than 18 years ago. In fact, groundbreaking research conducted at Replacements by Virginia Commonwealth University provided the first quantitative study of the effects of dogs in the workplace. Researchers found the presence of pets not only reduces stress, but also increases job satisfaction and cooperation among coworkers.
In addition to doggie customer treats in the retail store, organizers are also planning special activities for employees and their pets. On an average day, Replacements generally has 20-30 furry friends coming to work, but anticipates additional attendance for
Bring Your Pet to Work Day events. For more information, contact Lisa Conklin at (336) 697-3000, ext. 2552 ((336) 209-0951 mobile) or
