Naif Christmas by Villeroy & Boch
festive holiday pattern features a variety of
folk art paintings. The simple art that adorns each piece in this Villeroy and Boch collection was produced by the
world renowned folk artist, Gerard LaPlau. LaPlau belongs to the French school of naïve artists whose influence is heavily drawn from Henri Rousseau. The name
“Naïf” references a form of simple folk art which is often produced by artists who do not have any formal training. LaPlau was chosen by the Villeroy and Boch Company because of his charming depictions of village Christmas scenes.
Naïf Christmas was produced as an accent for the popular
Design Naïf pattern. The Villeroy and Boch Company also released an additional accent pattern for Design Naif entitled
Naïf Wedding. Replacements carries a
wide variety of pieces in each of these brightly colored, sophisticated patterns. Start browsing our extensive inventory in this delightful holiday pattern at the links below, and begin or complete your set today!
