Romantique is French for "romantic." Gorham's Romantique is a crystal pattern that epitomizes the essence of romance by being simple and understated yet graceful. Part of Gorham's "fine" crystal collection, Romantique is very delicate in appearance, yet very durable. A clear-bodied pattern, Romatique sits on a plain, round foot that supports a smooth, pulled stem. The stem rises gracefully from the base with dramatic, swirled cuts starting midway on the stem and covering the first quarter of the bowl. These cuts start as discrete lines and progress into a deeper design that almost appears to be swaying in an imaginary breeze. What a great pattern for summer entertaining!
