Replacements, Ltd. Featured Pattern - September 2004
Historic America-Brown by Johnson Brothers
|
In 2002,
Johnson Brothers introduced a unique multi-motif china pattern that highlighted many of America’s great icons or historically significant achievements. Johnson Brothers called this new pattern
Historic America, and they produced it in different color themes. This month, we feature
Historic America-Brown, a pattern that features an earthenware body decorated with a brown, multi-motif transferware design. The border of each piece is accented with geometric lattice-work and a wreath of oak leaves and acorns. There are many unique design scenes from which to choose in this pattern, including dinner plates that feature the
Statue of Liberty, the
Capitol Building in Washington D.C., the
Wright Brothers original airplane, the
Brooklyn Bridge, the
Empire State Building,
Central Park, and many more! It would take a large web page to list all of the unique designs (and stories) featured as part of this pattern, but you can click the link below to explore (and order in) a great selection of images and
Historic America–Brown piece types. This pattern sets a great fall table, or adds great fall accents to your current pattern! |
