Lalique Figurines & Giftware – Unique Selection!

As another special collectibles feature this month, we are offering a wide variety of stylish Lalique figurines and giftware. This selection includes an extensive line of animal figurines designed in a variety of colors, perfume bottles, pin trays, paperweights, decanters, and much more. One example of the unique talent of Rene Lalique can be seen in the “Igor Bowl and Caviar Cup.” This beautiful clear crystal bowl is accented with a dolphin foot and lid, and is really an amazing piece. Other alluring pieces include the “Rooster” figurine, “Bacchantes” vase, “Stresa” bowl, and many more.

Throughout the 1880s and 1890s, Rene Lalique designed jewelry and crystal sculptures using the skills he acquired as a student at L’Ecole des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. During this time, Lalique designed jewelry in the Art Nouveau tradition. Characterized by undulating lines, waves, curls, and a strong influence from nature, the Art Nouveau style eventually became known as the “art of decadence.” Art Nouveau artists and designers drew inspiration from the Romantic literary movement and the French Symbolism movement. Lalique’s beautiful jewelry and pendants were often made of glass, and his most famous pieces were made in the form of dragonflies. In 1905, Lalique opened his first showroom in Paris. Beginning in 1907, Lalique designed hundreds of perfume bottles for the famous Coty perfumery. Soon after the release of Lalique's perfume bottles, the glassmaker began producing vases, trays, and decorative architectural panels. These beautiful works were shipped to all parts of France and the world. Due to the visionary genius and talent of Rene Lalique, Lalique pieces continue to be highly collectible.

A few of Rene Lalique's sculptures strategically placed in your home or office will add fashion-forward accent and a sense of style that is unparalleled!
