Featured Pattern - Spring 2005
Sarah's Garden by Wedgwood
In keeping with this month’s
Wedgwood theme, we are happy to feature the delightful springtime pattern,
Sarah’s Garden. This
striking design showcases durable earthenware pieces done in a garden motif. Each piece is decorated with a thin rope accent border next to a wider band of
vibrant color, done in an “
antique wash” style. Contrasted against the striking color border is a
beautiful butterfly. Accent pieces in this pattern feature elegant floral motifs and fruit designs.
Sarah’s Garden is named after Josiah Wedgwood’s wife and was inspired by the herbs, fruits, vegetables, and flowers of England’s countryside.
Sarah’s Garden is one of a number of patterns that are being discontinued in the United States by Wedgwood in 2005. We have been working closely with Wedgwood to acquire their last remaining inventory in this discontinued pattern and would like to help you complete your set before these pieces become harder to find!
