Lancaster by Adams China

This month we are excited to offer great values in a graceful and durable pattern, Lancaster by Adams China. This handsome pattern is done on beautifully shaped pieces in durable ironstone. The pieces feature border decoration including red flowers, green leaves, and cobalt blue lines. Lancaster is based on an earlier design that was originally produced by Adams China from 1829-1861. The original pattern was called Adams Rose and featured underglaze-printed ironstone. When Adams China reissued the Adams Rose pattern as Lancaster, the company needed to make very few changes, and Lancaster became an immediate success. Its great looks, durable design, and easy care made it immensely popular in households throughout Europe and the United States.
