#1
– Rose Point-Clear (Stem #3121) by Cambridge
It is easy to see why this design is number one on our list. Rose Point was produced longer than any other Cambridge pattern, was produced in the greatest number of different piece types, and acquired the largest customer following in etched crystal. |
#2 – Chintz by Fostoria
Featuring a floral rose and meandering vine design, this pattern is well-known throughout the world. The stems feature optic bowls, set atop unique stems that are multi-faceted and set with decorative knobs. A beautiful etched-crystal pattern! |
#3 – Orchid by Heisey
Orchid by Heisey Glass has a multi-optic flared bowl that is accented with a delicately etched floral design. Each piece in this full-service crystal pattern has graceful lines, gentle curves, and etched floral splendor that is unmatched in crystal. The pattern was introduced in 1940 and is Heisey’s most popular. |
#4 – Navarre-Clear by Lenox
First designed by Fostoria and introduced in 1936, Navarre’s popularity would cause it to be later purchased from Fostoria and produced by Lenox. Navarre was such a popular pattern that at one point its sales comprised almost 10% of all crystal sales! |
#5 – Meadow Rose-Clear by Fostoria
This beautiful pattern was inspired by nature and features scrolls, vines, and swags of flowers. The optic bowl captures ambient light and beautifully casts it across a room. |
#6 – Heisey Rose by Heisey
Heisey Rose is another spectacularly designed and magnificently executed etched crystal pattern. It was introduced to the market in 1949 and some have said that it was produced in response to Cambridge’s Rose Point. The pattern is distinct with a large etched rose design on the flared bowl and a rose-shaped sculpted stem. |
#7 – June Night by Tiffin
This pattern is delicately etched and has an elongated cameo design. June Night was especially popular with brides during the 1940’s and 1950’s. |
#8 – Rose Point-Clear (Stem #3500) by Cambridge
This gorgeous blown glass pattern has a flared, optic, concave bowl with an intricately decorated stem. Floral sprays accent each delicately crafted piece. A must see pattern! |
#9 – Corsage by Fostoria
The Corsage pattern has floral sprays trailed by garland swags, accenting an optic bowl. When the pattern made its debut in 1935, it was an immediate sales success for Fostoria. |
#10 – Minuet by Heisey
Minuet is inspired by the art and architecture of the Colonial period. Three cameo designs appear on the bowl; one of a cello player, one a handsome beau, and one a beautiful lady, all atop a multi-sided stem accented with beads. |
