Replacements, Ltd. Featured Pattern
Chantilly by Gorham Silver
|
This month, we feature on the greatest flatware designs in silver history,
Chantilly by
Gorham.
Chantilly was designed by William Christmas Codman (1839 - 1921) for Gorham Silver in 1895. This pattern has become the most popular flatware pattern ever produced and is particularly popular among newly-weds. This gorgeous flatware is the silverware service of choice on the US Presidential jet, Air Force One.
Chantilly's graceful border, plain center, and fleur-de-lis tip are inspired by the “Roccoco” design style of the 18th century French "Regency" period. Replacements, Ltd. carries original pieces featuring the
“Lion/Anchor/G” backstamp as well as pieces with the
“Gorham” backstamp. We also have a great selection of
hollowware and
monogrammed pieces.
