Each piece from this classic Thanksgiving pattern is accented with a warm border of fruits, nuts, berries, and foliage from an original engraving created by Johnson Brothers. His Majesty actually began as a single accent plate for Johnson Brother’s very popular Friendly Village pattern. The “Tom Turkey” accent piece proved to be an instant hit and the His Majesty pattern was introduced in 1955, two years after the introduction of Friendly Village. (This means pieces from His Majesty offer the added benefit of coordinating perfectly with pieces in Friendly Village.)
