Wonderful World Yellow, Orange, & Black by Villeroy and Boch

The pattern name pretty much says it all, doesn’t it? Wonderful World is a bold Villeroy and Boch design, produced in 2004, but reminiscent of mid-twentieth century Modern design. Mid-century Modern tableware designs, which are classic representations of the applied art of mid-20th century America, feature clean, informal lines and natural shapes.  The tea sets we’re featuring include a tea pot, creamer, and sugar bowl with lid.  They sport bright colors, big, looping handles, and quixotic, triangular-shaped lid handles on the tea pots and sugar bowls.  The sets are available in Wonderful World-Yellow, a warm, lemon color, Wonderful World-Orange, a tangerine-colored orange, and Wonderful World-Black, which provides two options for what in fact is a tri-colored set, each with a black tea pot, and your choice of an orange or yellow creamer, and your choice of an orange or yellow sugar bowl with lid.  All sharp combinations in beautifully shaped pieces.
