This month, we feature an adorable three-and-a-half-year-old calico cat named “Kajun Ladi.” Kajun Ladi belongs to Vanessa McCormick, a member of our Customer Service team. Vanessa had wanted a cat for some time when a friend, who happened to work at a veterinarian’s office, called Vanessa to say that another employee at the office had found a box of kittens left on her doorstep. Unsure what to do, the employee took the kittens to the veterinarian’s office hoping to find them a new home. Vanessa and her roommate decided to adopt two of the adorable kittens.

When Vanessa first adopted Kajun Ladi and her brother, Raskle, she brought the kittens with her to work every day. Eventually, they became too adventuresome and Vanessa decided to begin leaving them at home. Kajun Ladi went from stealing Vanessa’s chair at work to stealing her favorite chair at home. Vanessa says that Kajun Ladi is full of energy and she brings a smile to to the face of everyone she meets. She loves treats and can even “speak” on command. Her favorite pastime is terrorizing her brothers Raskle and Moonie.

Vanessa says of the Replacements, Ltd. pet friendly policy, “I love working for a company that recognizes that our pets are part of our family. Having our pets at work is fun and rejuvenating.”
