This month, we feature “Sasha,” a two-month-old pug belonging to Michelle Scott, a supervisor in the fulfillment operations department at Replacements, Ltd. Michelle got Sasha about eight months after the oldest of her two pugs, “Zena,” passed away at fourteen years old. “My entire family mourned the loss of Zena, but none more than my twelve-year-old pug ‘Gabriel,’ said Michelle. “Having a new playmate like Sasha has brought new life into Gabriel. They’re both very playful, and Gabriel has become quite the mother hen by keeping a close eye on Sasha – even when she’s sleeping!”
According to Michelle, Sasha is full of personality, spunk, and curiosity, but is also a momma’s girl. “She has quickly become accustomed to coming to work every day,” Michelle said. “Many tour groups stop to visit with her, and she enjoys the attention.” Michelle said almost everyone in the Replacements silver department stops in daily to visit or take Sasha on walks. Sasha also spends time with her friends in the purchasing department and enjoys seeing her brother, “Buck,” in the curating department.
When asked about working at Replacements and the pet-friendly policy here, Michelle said, “Being allowed to bring our pets to work is a wonderful benefit. I feel very privileged to be part of such a thoughtful company.”
