Our Featured Pet this month is “Purty,” a cute black and white cat who belongs to Jennipher Isley, coordinator of customer service training in the phone sales department at Replacements, Ltd. Jennipher came to own Purty when Jennipher’s husband met a woman who had just lost her father and was looking for someone to adopt his cat. “My husband and I both had cats and lost them before we met,” Jennipher said. “After being married for a year we were ready for a new cat. It took one meeting and we knew Purty was coming home with us!” According to Jennipher, it took a while for Purty to get comfortable in her new environment, but once she did her personality really began to shine.
“One of the highlights of my day is coming home to Purty, who will meow to tell me all about her day,” Jennipher said. “One of Purty's favorite jobs is policing our windows protecting us from everything from flying leaves, birds, and neighborhood cats,” Jennipher said. Purty is expert at chasing a strand of twine and anything that looks like a stick, but her favorite game is playing tag with Jennipher’s husband. “She will jump out of nowhere and wrap her paws around his ankle – then he will chase her – this could go on for 30 minutes,” Jennipher said. Purty also exhibits another unusual trait: “While she is running, she will bark, yes, bark – like a dog!” Jennipher said.
“Purty will not be policing the windows at Replacements, but I do enjoy seeing all the pets that do come,” Jennipher said. “What I like most about Replacements pet policy is that a friendly face and a wagging tail are just a few steps away.” When it comes to working at Replacements, Jennipher said, “I have worked at Replacements since 2000 and have loved every minute of it – learning about the product, my co-workers, and helping the customers connect with their most cherished memories.”
