"Beauregard" and Jonathan Kassay

Our Featured Pet this month is “Beauregard,” a playful boston terrier who belongs to Jonathan Kassay, an employee in the facilities department at Replacements, Ltd. Jonathan found Beauregard after losing “Bud,” his faithful companion for thirteen years, to cancer. Jonathan said, “A couple of years ago I was at my dad’s house in Virginia looking through the paper, and saw somebody was advertising boston terriers for sale, so my nephew and I went to check them out.”

Jonathan said he fell in love with Beauregard right away. “Beauregard – otherwise known as ‘BoBo the Boston terror’ – is a great dog,” Jonathan said. “He will play fetch forever, and he won't stop till you put the ball away. He also likes playing with other dogs.” Beauregard’s playful nature, however, is sometimes a source of concern for Jonathan, who worries that Beauregard thinks he’s bigger than he actually is. “He scares me sometimes, because he doesn't care how big other dogs are compared to him – he just wants to play!”

When asked about the Replacements, Ltd. and the company’s pet-friendly policy, Jonathan said, “Replacements is a cool place to work because you can bring your pets in. I think my job is great, because I get to see a lot of people and their pets!”
