Established as the “Montjovis Factory” in 1849, it would later be renamed Tressemanes and Vogt. Martial Raynaud, a former employee of Tressemanes and Vogt, purchased the factory in 1919 and the Raynaud tradition of fine porcelain began. The company has become known for producing exquisitely white, perfectly translucent china.
