GREENSBORO, N.C., April 13, 2016 – Replacements, Ltd. invites you to tea! The world’s largest retailer of old and new china, crystal, silver and collectibles is holding two 2016 Spring Tea events May 6 and 7, 2016 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
With afternoon teas growing in popularity, Replacements’ team will share how-to tips and insights covering everything you need to know to dazzle guests with your own tea party.
"We generally think of tea as being a highly formal gathering, but it may surprise you to know teas are truly about relaxing, reaching out and maintaining friendships," says Replacements’ John Griffith. "We’re going to talk about tea history and traditions, specific tea etiquette such as how to properly drink tea and handle linens, and show you how to create a sophisticated Downton Abbey inspired tea table. These are going to be really fun events, and a great way to get an early start on Mother’s Day weekend celebrations."
Replacements’ team will serve a full tea menu, including savories, scones and sweets; the locally catered event costs $14.95 per person. Due to limited space, registration is required by May 2, 2016. For more information or to sign up for these sessions, contact John Griffith (336) 697-3000 ext. 2233 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Replacements, Ltd. is located just off I-40/I-85 (exit 132) at 1089 Knox Road, McLeansville, N.C., 27301.
