Replacements, Ltd. Supports Ending Immigration Ban
GREENSBORO, N.C., February 1, 2017 – Tableware retailer Replacements, Ltd. is taking to traditional and social media to urge ending the executive order banning refugees and immigrants from seven majority Muslim countries.
“We celebrate our differences and affirm the dignity of all people,” says Replacements Founder and CEO Bob Page. “Our dedicated and talented workforce comprises men and women from more than 30 countries; dozens of our employees were displaced from their homes by war and violence, coming here to seek peace. Immigrants built the United States and continue to make us better. We support ending the ban now.”
Replacements embraces differences and proudly nurtures an inclusive environment where employees can freely bring their whole selves to work. The company strives to influence social change through Replacements’ practices and actions, such as employing refugees who escaped the civil war in former Yugoslavia or celebrating the company’s anniversary last year by partnering with an immigrated family to build a Habitat for Humanity home.
