Replacements Presents Mix Master Eddie Ross at High Point Furniture Market Seminar

Noted designer shares insight on creating fearless looks reflecting clients' stories & styles

GREENSBORO, N.C., October 1, 2018 –– Replacements is thrilled to present the High Point Market seminar Eddie Ross, Mix Master at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 14, 2018 in Alden Parkes' showroom, at 200 North Hamilton Street, Suite #110.

Celebrated designer, author of Modern Mix and House Beautiful contributing editor, Ross will share his unique insight on how to collect, restore and incorporate vintage finds to create modern spaces celebrating the past, present and future.

"I think of a modern mix as captivating collections of new and old, simple and elaborate, rough and refined," says Eddie Ross. "I like pattern on pattern and layers of color. Today, people aren't living with everything either old or new; it's the combination that keeps things interesting and personal. No matter where you live, or how you entertain, I'll show you how to harness the power of color and pattern to give fresh life to old things."

"I love how Eddie celebrates mixing the past with the present and is fearless in the use of pieces that one may traditionally use simply to display," says Replacements' Chief Marketing Officer Linh Calhoun. "Eddie's energy, enthusiasm and pure love of dinnerware and design comes through in everything he does. We are honored to partner with Alden Parkes and cannot wait to hear how Eddie presents his stories and style in a way that is sure to inspire."

The seminar counts for .1 CEU credit. Afterwards, Replacements invites market attendees for Cocktails & Conversation with Mix Master Eddie Ross from 4 to 6 p.m. at the company's pop-up shop on the mezzanine of the Suites at Market Square, M-1015. These events are part of Replacements year-long launch of the retailer's exclusive to-the-trade Designer Program, giving designers access to more than 11 million pieces of tableware and accessories.
