Supporting Affordable Housing for Families in Greensboro

Celebrating our 40 years by honoring our community

GREENSBORO, N.C., July 20, 2021 – As part of a celebration of Replacements’ 40th anniversary, on July 22nd Founder and CEO Bob Page will join in a wall raising ceremony for a new Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro home made possible by his gift of the building costs.

At Replacements, we believe there’s a place for everyone at the table. As we help people create and maintain their most important connections – to the past and to each other – we also affirm the dignity of all people. These values are in our DNA. Page often relays the story that when growing up, his parents always taught him to share what little they had with neighbors. He made this lesson one of the company’s guiding values when starting Replacements.

“I can’t think of a better way to celebrate our 40th anniversary than living our values, sharing our success, and serving our community. The pandemic has made housing insecurity and income inequality worse for many. I am honored to be a member of a community that cares and glad to be able to help others,” states Page.

David Kolosieke, President and CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro states, “Since 2010 when they sponsored their first home with Habitat Greensboro, Bob Page and Replacements have been strong supporters of affordable housing. Over the years, Replacements has helped 12 families achieve their dreams of homeownership through their financial support and volunteer service. We are so looking forward to working with Replacements on the build site again and are grateful for their support of our families in Willow Oaks.“

Page, along with members of Replacements, Ltd.’s leadership team will be present at the groundbreaking ceremony to be held at 817 Green Oaks Drive, Greensboro, NC 27401. The ceremony officially begins at 10:00 a.m., this Thursday, July 22nd.
