Charnwood by Wedgwood
This month we are featuring Wedgwood’s Charnwood pattern. The contemporary whiteware shapes of the Charnwood pattern are trimmed in gold. Each piece features an array of brightly colored flowers, greenery, insects, bees, and butterflies. Large purple blooms accent meandering green vines and leaves. Yellow and blue butterflies are perched on many of the pattern’s wildflowers. For years, Wedgwood has produced the world’s most elegant china. In 1759, Josiah Wedgwood opened the Ivy House Works in Burselm, England. Since that time, Wedgwood has produced thousands of beautiful china patterns, collectible ornaments, and figurines. Charnwood is another example of Wedgwood’s commitment to creating beautiful and durable china.
