Apple by Franciscan China
Inspiration for Franciscan China’s Apple pattern was drawn from California’s many apple orchards. The warm color of this pattern’s earthenware body is accented with the richness of hand-painted red apples and green leaves. First produced in 1940, the Apple pattern later became Franciscan’s most popular design. The company produced an extensive line of place setting, serving, and accessory pieces. A number of American glassware companies made glassware accessories to accompany the unique design. Replacements, Ltd. carries a variety of these glassware pieces, including those made by Anchor Hocking, Libbey, and Imperial.
