This magnificent antique French three-piece garniture set, titled Progrès, includes a central clock surmounted by a striking allegorical bronze figure of a woman, representing progress and enlightenment, gracefully holding a laurel wreath aloft. Flanking the clock are two grand candelabras, each with five candle arms, elegantly designed with scrolling details and supported by richly veined marble bases with ornate gilded mounts. The combination of stately bronze, luxurious marble, and gilded embellishments speaks to the grandeur and opulence of the period, making this set an exceptional focal point for a mantelpiece, formal dining room, or parlor.
